Founded in 2017, HomeServiceChats saw explosive growth in its first year, growing from six to 65 employees, which led to the company’s expanding its office by 10,000 feet in August 2018.
The global demand for cooling is growing exponentially, which could place serious strains on electrical grids around the world. This increasing demand is coming primarily from developing nations in hotter parts of the world, such as India, where the peak electricity load for air conditioning could reach 45 percent in 2050, up from 10 percent today.
Johnson Controls, in partnership with Johnson Controls-Hitachi, announced that it is expanding its focus on its Applied Systems business: chillers, air-handling equipment, and service.
The MoU is aimed at “furthering a more effective and beneficial exchange of knowledge and ideas in the HVACR industry.” In practical terms it will provide the members of AIRAH and IOR access to each other’s considerable banks of technical resources, foster global collaboration on research projects, and provide shared training opportunities.
Several exciting and new items are planned for Pantheon 2019, including a focus on training and transformation. The event will take the entirety of the Pasadena Convention Center and will feature a full tradeshow floor.
This year the show floor exhibited 1,824 companies from across the entire industry, including 497 international exhibitors, bringing together the best in technology and product advancement.
